During the public hearings for the inquiry in pig welfare, Nationals upper house member for North Victoria, Gaelle Broad, questioned us on the illegal nature of our work.
We know what we do is illegal, we know that we are breaking the law. But unlike the Australian Pork industry we are fully transparent about what we do and why.
Despite the penalties and ag-gag laws designed to deter activists, we’re still willing to take the risk because we’ve seen the impact that it can have, in fact it’s the reason that this inquiry took place at all.
